What are the requirements to open for a PNB Priority Checking Account

  • 1 Valid ID (primary or secondary)
  • Fully accomplished Forms (Provide TIN and SSS/GSIS number, if applicable)

  1. Click Sign-Up in the login page on PNB Mobile Banking App
  2. Choose account type and input Debit Card Number and PIN
  3. Create your user ID and password
  4. Enter 6-digit One-Time PIN (OTP) sent via SMS
  5. Upon initial login, enter Online Activation Code (OAC) sent via e-mail

    • The minimum maintaining balance for Priority Checking Account is PHP 25,000.

    • If the Average Daily Balance (ADB) of your Priority Checking Account falls below the required minimum monthly ADB for at least two (2) consecutive months, it will be charged PHP 350.00 per month until your account reaches the ADB requirement.

  6. When do I get my debit card?
    • Your PNB PAL Mabuhay Miles Priority Mastercard will be available for pick up at your PNB Branch of choice where you opened the account after 7-10 banking days from the date of account opening.
  7. How many checkbooks can I get?
    • Upon account opening, an initial checkbook will be given to you. Kindly coordinate with your maintaining branch for succeeding checkbook requests.
  8. When and how do I get my checkbook?
    • Your initial checkbook will be released by your PNB Branch of choice where you opened the account right after your account is opened.
  9. Are there fees for not using the checkbook?
    • There is no fee for not using your checkbook.
  10. When and how do I get my passbook?
    • Your initial passbook will be released by your PNB Branch of choice where you opened the account right after your account is opened.
  11. Up to how many passbooks can I have?
    • Upon account opening, only one passbook will be given to you by your PNB branch of choice. Kindly coordinate with your maintaining branch for succeeding passbook requests.
  12. Is there a fee to get a passbook?
    • None, passbook is free upon opening of account. Fully filled up passbook is replaced for free.
  13. Is there a fee when I close my account within one month of account opening?
    • Early Closure Fee – applicable to accounts closed within 30 days from account opening is Php 500.00.

    • To use your PNB PAL Mabuhay Miles Priority Mastercard for online purchases, simply input the card details when asked. There will be a One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number to confirm the transaction. Please be mindful of the online shops that you visit to avoid fraudulent transactions.

    • To use your PNB PAL Mabuhay Miles Priority Mastercard for online payments, simply input the card details when asked. There will be a One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number to confirm the transaction. Please be mindful of the online payment sites that you visit to avoid fraudulent transactions.

    • International transaction charges are as follows:

    * All transactions made in foreign currencies will be automatically converted to Philippine Peso on the transaction dates at the prevailing exchange rate applied by Mastercard. The amount converted may include other fees imposed by Mastercard and/or the acquiring bank.
  6. Can I withdraw my money abroad?
    • Yes, you may withdraw your money abroad at any Mastercard and Maestro-affiliated shops and ATMs.
  7. How do I get OTP for my transactions?
    • Each time you make an online purchase you will be required to enter a One-Time PIN (OTP) to proceed on each of your online transactions using your PNB PAL Mabuhay Miles Priority Mastercard. Kindly ensure that your contact details are updated by visiting any PNB Branch. Only your registered mobile number will receive an OTP.
  8. Are there fees for OTP transactions?
    • OTP transactions are free of charge. It shall not be charged to your mobile phone bill regardless of your location and the number of times you transact online.
  9. What to do when I don’t get an OTP for transactions?
    • Expect to receive the OTP via SMS within five (5) minutes. If you do not receive the OTP, you may click the “Regenerate OTP” button to get a new one.

    • Yes, card replacement is charged PHP 200.00
  3. How do I report a lost/stolen checkbook?
    • You may contact PNB Customer Care immediately at (632) 8573-8888 or visit your nearest PNB Branch to report the lost/stolen checkbook.
  4. Is there a fee for checkbook replacement?
    • Yes, checkbook replacement is charged PHP 250.00
  5. How do I report a lost/stolen passbook?
    • In case of lost / stolen passbook, immediately report to the Maintaining Branch or Customer Care. You may call (632) 8573-8888 or email customercare@pnb.com.ph. You may only have your lost passbook replaced at your Maintaining Branch.
  6. Is there a fee for passbook replacement?
    • For lost passbook, replacement fee is PHP 200.00. Fully filled up passbook will be replaced for free.
