PNB supports BSP in commemorating National Banking Week on 1-7 January 2023

PNB supports the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in commemorating National Banking Week on 1-7 January 2023. This year’s theme highlights the importance of cybersecurity in protecting consumers’ financial assets from cybercrimes.

The BSP encourages the public to always do the CPR, or CHECK-PROTECT-REPORT, when making financial transactions.

• CHECK – Check whom you are talking to. Banks and financial institutions will only ask for your personal information if you initiate a call through their official hotlines to make an inquiry or transaction.
• PROTECT – Protect confidential information. Do not provide your personal data, account details, or passwords to senders of random text messages or emails.
• REPORT – Report incidences of scams and suspicious transactions to your banks or financial institutions immediately if you think your account has been compromised.
