PNB joins the nation in observing the 23rd Depositor Protection and Awareness Week

In alignment with Presidential Proclamation No. 358, issued on April 4, 2003, the Philippine National Bank (PNB) proudly joins the entire banking sector in observing the 23rd Depositor Protection and Awareness Week (DPAW) from June 16 to 22, 2025. This annual observance underscores our continued commitment to safeguarding the hard-earned savings of the Filipino people and supporting the country’s economic growth through financial security and trust in the banking system.

Led by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), DPAW aims to heighten public awareness on the protection provided to depositors and the importance of saving in banks. The theme this year — “Bank deposit mo, MAS protektado!” — highlights the PDIC’s assurance that bank deposits are insured up to ₱1 million per depositor per bank.
